You don’t need to cast a piece of furniture or have welding lines visible between two metal sheets because it is sprayable. Additionally, you may texture metal while it’s still liquid, allowing you to construct custom surfaces with an infinite number of textures.

What surfaces are suitable for applying liquid metal?
Any base substrate, including wood, MDF, acrylic, porcelain, tiles, ACP, fabric, and even concrete, may be coated with liquid metal. To fully benefit from liquid metal coating, we advise selecting a very robust and lightweight basis, since it is similar to producing a 1mm veneer layer on the base. At Aster materials, MDF is often used for furniture and interiors, ACP is used for exteriors, and WPC is used for damp areas.
How long does this material last?
Because of our formulation’s high level of material adherence to the base substrate, the material’s lifespan is dependent on the base. It is unlikely that the liquid metal covering will fail unless the substrate fractures. If the proper aftercare is not followed, such as cleaning it with an acidic cleanser or if there is any mechanical abrasion, there may be peeling or cracking.
How is liquid metal worked with?
Both pre-made panels and raw materials are available for usage as liquid metal, which may be used to coat doors, furniture, and walls.
As a contractor or product producer, you may work with the raw material that we have accessible in kits if you want to explore and create your own textures with liquid metal.
